Bandcamp is a leading independent music marketplace, and a subsidiary of Songtradr, Inc.

• I was about the 20th employee at Bandcamp, and about the 10th engineering hire. I helped scale the engineering team up to about 50 engineers before Bandcamp was acquired by Epic Games in 2022.
• As director, I manage and mentor ten engineers who comprise three engineering teams. In the last year, we shipped major product releases including Bandcamp Clubs, shared playlists, digital payments in listening parties and a Shopify integration.
• As a manager, I personally led projects to comply with a variety of compliance and legal issues, including compliance with the EU Digital Services Act, the US INFORM Act, and shifting US marketplace tax rules. Combined, these have mitigated over $100MM in potential regulatory and tax liabilities on accelerated timelines. I also led my team through 2 acquisitions, maintaining morale and ensuring the continuity of the business.
• As an engineer, I built multiple payment systems, and I was one of two engineers on the team that added credit card support to Bandcamp (deployed with no downtime). More than a billion dollars of artist payouts have been processed by code I wrote since 2016.
